Warehouse Employee

Working at Ingram Micro Eurohub means working at one of the most modern logistics warehouses in Europe. At our 850,000 square feet premises, we use state-of-the-art technology, such as our Sorter which we installed in 2019. Our warehouse is equipped with air-conditioned and ergonomic workstations. Partly automated processes mean easier physical work and shorter walking distances for you. As a warehouse employee or picker, you and your team ensure that articles are delivered to our customers on time. You and your team manage the entire inventory. Depending on your area of work, you might put away newly delivered articles, compile orders, pack orders and then ship them. When articles come back to the warehouse, you will process returns, check the inventory, as well as the articles' overall quality. We offer you long-term opportunities and promotion prospects. At our company, you can start your career as a warehouse employee and then progress to become a Team, Shift or even Area Lead.

As a warehouse superior, you showcase a high level of flexibility, professional expertise, efficiency, and employee orientation. You and your team ensure smooth processing, and you are responsible for the result of your process section. Additionally, you always detect ways of improving processes.

Jean Baptiste has been working at Ingram Micro for many years and on our blog, he tells us his story: “I’m curious and I like learning new things. So, I got to know many different areas in a short period of time – commissioning, Outbound, Quality Management...“

Team Lead

As Team Lead, you will be responsible for coordinating your employees. You will implement and evaluate performance targets. You are naturally focused on motivating your employees, as well as handling warehouse and logistics processes.

Shift Lead

As Shift Lead, you will be responsible for coordinating logistics processes with a set team. You will successfully implement Management orders and organise shift planning. It goes without saying that you optimise work processes.

Area Lead

As Area Lead, you will be responsible for one of our areas (Inbound, Outbound or Quality Management). You will compile work instructions and process descriptions. You will provide the technical supervision and organisation for all employees in your area.

Thomas tells us about his career at Ingram Micro from being a Team Lead to his current position as Area Lead: “Languages, legal matters, and employee trainings – there is a strong emphasis on training.”
