One little Click instead of Paper scattered everywhere – posting Digital Salary Slips

The pay packet employees received decades ago is probably long forgotten by now, but salary slips are still present. However, salary slips are a thing of the past for us too – at least in our employee's letterbox. From now on, all employees will receive their electronic salary slip via email. There are several advantages to this: the downloaded documents can be neatly stored and viewed at any time on our employees' personal computers. Our employees no longer need a holepunch and a binder.

The reason for going digital is simple: we want to do our part for the environment by operating more sustainably and saving paper. Sending out physical salary slips via snail mail caused a lot of printing at the end of the month for us. This is unnecessary in our opinion. We would like to invest the money in sustainable projects.

This fits in with our sustainable company philosophy: we avoid unnecessary print-outs. The things we do print out are on recyclable paper. The materials we use for packaging must be both ecological as well as economic. Due to switching to more environmentally friendly material, we have already saved four tons of plastic compared to 2018. We use 100 tons less wood due to recyclable cardboard pallets.

A lot of good reasons to give up printing out and mailing physical salary slips, and to go digital instead. – This approach is shared by all Ingram Micro facilities in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, by the way.
