It’s Controlling Time

The world is still in lockdown...my head is spinning...I definitely need a haircut.

Corona still controls our everyday life and therefore our state of mind.

I'm currently at the Controlling department. The colleagues here provide all the data necessary for planning, leading and controlling the company. The main task of Controlling is ensuring that the company is run in an economic and efficient manner. The results of this department, such as compiling a profit and loss statement help the company's management with their decisions. The Controlling colleagues compile the budget planning with every department. This budget planning sets out beforehand for every department the financial resources the department will need every month or for the entire year. When you work here, you have to have a great understanding of numbers and be proficient in Excel. Working here is really interesting.

In school, I had three years of economic studies, so I already had some insights into this area.

Finally, I would like to say that without Controlling, companies cannot operate economically and therefore survive on the free market.

Controlling is not just fun, it's also very important.
