From vocational Trainee to Senior Operations Coordinator:

Janni lives and breathes Logistics

Right at the beginning of her professional career, Janni Schepull noticed her knack for logistics. In 2006, she started working at the predecessor company of Ingram Micro in Großbeeren – and stayed, to this day. At first, she was an auxiliary at the then small company. She enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, partnered with exciting tasks in warehouse logistics. "The team spirit was great and KFZ-Teile 24 was one of my favourite clients, because I'm really interested in cars." Janni soon made the decision to start her vocational training here. "I fell in love with logistics and I knew this was the place for me."

Today, Janni can look back on a long and successful career. After her vocational training as Warehouse Logistics Specialist, she started working as a Team Lead. Only eight months later, she progressed to Shift Lead. "I have a structured work approach and I like dealing with people. These characteristics were obviously an advantage for my professional development," Janni says. After another two years, Janni was promoted to Area Lead. She was responsible for Pack, Pick and Loading tasks. "Alongside the company's growth, I was shown new prospects as well and I could progress." During her career, Janni became the Senior Area Lead for our Outbound department. She and another colleague were responsible for about 1,200 employees in three shifts, and she was happy with her job.

Today, Janni is Senior Operations Coordinator. "By now, I also have my own vocational trainees whom I love taking care of, because I've always been interested in vocational training," Janni says, remembering her own humble beginnings. "One thing hasn't changed at our company: we do not forget who does the job. Everyone is important, whether they're a vocational trainee or a superior."
